#fridayintroductions

Hey, y'all!

I'm introducing myself for #fridayintroductions because I want to be a part of a community that has something to share! I'm Tammy. I live in Cookeville, Tennessee-right smack dab between Nashville and Knoxville. I was born and raised here. I've been here my entire life, but I can see myself being somewhere else. I'm a mom to 2 boys, 1 cat, and 3 dogs. I'm a grateful wife to Chris. He knows my faults and shortcomings, and loves me anyway. When I was 16, I dreamed of moving to NYC. Now at almost 40, I'm not quite there, geographically. I've taken many bumpy paths and now, instead of seeing them as failures, I see them as lessons. I'm learning to dig deep and find what truly matters in this life. I'm letting go of all the negative and letting only good thoughts occupy my mind. We have only so many days on this Earth. We don't know the number, but I want to live out the rest of mine being happy and allowing God to lead me. I'm over being exhausted, beat down, rejected, empty. I love growing things. Currently, it's a Meyer lemon tree and Navel orange tree. I'm growing them indoors. The Meyer lemon got its first full bloom yesterday. Smells amazing! I'm already planning next year's raised bed gardens. I have so much more that I can tell, but I'd love to hear from you!

Chime in!
